Founder of optiMize Among Three LSA Grads Honored by Crain's Twenty in Their 20s
Jeff Sorensen, founder and director of optiMize and LSA's director for social innovation, was recently selected as one of Crain's Twenty in Their 20s, an annual honor recognizing metro Detroit's top movers and shakers. Sorensen was honored for his work with LSA and optiMize, a social innovation incubator he created with Tim Pituch in 2012 when both were still students. The organization has since partnered with the College of LSA to offer workshops, mentorship, and funding to help students turn ideas into action.
