About
When did you join Newnan? January 2017.
What was your path to Newnan? After working as an auditor for over a decade at EMU, I desired a different collegiate environment. When an auditing opportunity became available at U-M, it was a sign...timing really is everything! I enjoy academia, especially student services. It is very rewarding to assist students in resolving their issues, providing resources, and easing the anxiety that often surrounds degree completion.
What do you enjoy about working in Newnan? From day one, it was evident that Newnan embodies a true sense of community and support for its employees. Newnan houses a remarkable group of people with diverse backgrounds and stories to share. Each member has a sincere commitment to student success which is celebrated and cultivated each day.
Subject you love and why? Anything related to art history/architecture/design! I love visually deconstructing an art piece or structure, understanding the motivation, the mediums used, and how the artist evolves over time. There are so many art forms around us to be appreciated and admired!
Interests and hobbies: Outdoor activities, museums, art & design, cooking, road trips, camping.
