The Dean’s Young Alumni Council was created to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities for young alumni to stay involved with the College. Council members serve as a small, highly engaged group of recent graduates whose mission is to encourage their peers to articulate the impact of their liberal arts education, and to create a culture of giving at the nation’s preeminent public liberal arts college. Members are also actively involved in LSA’s internship fundraising.
DYAC members also help the College by doing the following:
- Providing programming for young LSA alumni to reflect on the importance of the liberal arts.
- Advancing the way young alumni are communicated to about College initiatives and philanthropy.
- Supporting the Dean's initiative for undergraduate internships by finding internship opportunities and raising dollars for the LSA Fund for Student Internships.
