Advising

Students interested in this minor should plan to attend an information session; attending an information session is required prior to declaration. This minor is only able to accommodate up to 50 students a term. More information about declaring the minor is available by attending an information session and on the unit's advising site

CORE REQUIREMENT

  • PHYSIOLOGY 201 or 502  

Choose one lab:

  • ANATOMY 503 
  • ANATOMY 510 
  • PHYSIOLOGY 404  
  • PHYSIOLOGY 505 

 ELECTIVES REQUIREMENT

  • Choose one Anatomy elective: ANATOMY 303, 498, 499, 503, 510; ANTHRBIO 366; NEURO 470
  • Choose one Physiology elective: PHYSIOL 306, 404, 405, 406/506, 415, 502, 505, 541; BIOLOGY 225 or 226

 

  • Courses may only count once within the minor. If a student takes a course to meet a Core Requirement, they cannot use it to also meet the Electives Requirement. 
  • One of the two electives can be independent study through a research laboratory, directed reading, or project-based work in ANATOMY 498, 499; PHYSIOL 306, 405 
  • The following courses will only count toward the minor if taken in this order: ANATOMY 303 before 403; PHYSIOL 201 before 502; PHYSIOL 404 before 505

Residency

Students should plan to take all courses in-residence on the Ann Arbor campus unless receiving an exception by a program advisor.
