Philomena loves her job at the Language Resource Center! She came to U-M as a graduate student, got her Masters degree in Romance Linguistics (Spanish), and never left! Philomena has worked through many technology waves and trends and has acquired an extraordinary amount of experience with computer-assisted language learning and teaching with technology. While she works on a multitude of instructional technology projects, she openly admits that her "passion projects" are virtual international exchanges, where students in U-M courses connect virtually with students at partner universities abroad for discussion and joint projects—all during their regular coursework!
