About
Dominique's main research interests are in phonetics and sociolinguistics. Currently, he is working on a perceptual sociophonetics project about individual variation and social identity. His previous research has examined the acoustics of intervocalic stop reduction in American English. He also has experience using ultrasound to examine dorsal coarticulation in English. He graduated from NYU in 2014 with a B.A. in Linguistics and French and in 2015 with an M.A. in French Studies. His website can be accessed here.
