Undergraduate students completing Linguistics Capstone classes this semester shared their research during the annual capstone poster session, held April 22 on Zoom.

Students in professor Sally Thomason’s Endangered Languages course investigated twenty revitalization/revival community projects, comparing and evaluating the methods used to try to figure out what works and what doesn't, and why.

Students in professor Jon Brennan’s Neurolinguistics: State-of-the-art course used quantitative meta-analysis to identify consensus findings: Given a specific research question, what patterns of results generalize across multiple studies and methodologies?

Virtual break-out rooms allowed the students to share their hard work, explain their research, and engage in in-depth discussion with attendees.

Well done, students!
