The Department of Linguistics is pleased to announce the creation of the Deborah Keller-Cohen Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. This new $500 award is an early career teaching award for Linguistics Graduate Student Instructors. Professor Keller-Cohen is Professor of Linguistics, Women's Studies, and Education, and former Rackham Associate Dean for Humanities and the Arts. In naming the award in her honor, the Department recognizes Professor Keller-Cohen's own stellar undergraduate teaching in Linguistics, as well as her profound commitment to training and mentoring Linguistics Graduate Student Instructors. The recipient of the inaugural award will be chosen in Winter 2018 by the Linguistics Graduate Committee.
