Kuan Wang will join the department as an LCTP fellow in the fall of 2021 after receiving her degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Kuan's work focuses on the connection between galaxies and their host dark matter halos in simulations, and the implication of these models in cosmology surveys. At Michigan, Kuan is excited to join efforts in the Dark Energy Science Collaboration of the Rubin Observatory's Legacy Survey of Space and Time and the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument.
