Maria Costa's Macho Men and the Women Who Love Them

Saturday, November 16, 2013
12:00 AM
Rackham Auditorium

Onstage, Costa explodes with brilliant acting as she portrays an array of outrageous and hilarious characters. Maria breaks down cultural barriers during her journey of self-discovery, as she seeks advice from friends and family and brings out a colorful array of characters. She is a feisty actress/comedian, sometimes called "a female John Leguizamo." This hilarious one-woman show, which is packing in audiences and attracting rave reviews across the country, will be taking place at 7:30pm on November 16th at Rackham Auditorium (Ann Arbor, MI). Confessing her struggles in loving a traditional "macho" man, Costa gets big laughs as she transforms herself into an outrageous line-up of comic characters. From her ultra-macho father to her overly critical mother-in-law, Maria brilliantly captures the diverse rhythms of Latin life with irresistible style. It is a show you will not want to miss!
