For the first time this year the Kelsey Museum is inviting the public to an evening of ancient and modern romance on Valentine's Day, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.

The celebration will begin with a tasting of chocolates provided by Sweet Gem Confections. Owner and chocolatier Nancy Biehn will  present and discuss these decadent delights.

Following the tasting, guests are invited to join Professor Donald Sells in the Museum's second floor galleries for a Gallery Conversation. Professor Sells is an Assistant Professor in the Classical Studies Department whose research includes Greek drama, especially comedy. He will be reading a love poem by the Greek poet Theocritus and leading an informal conversation about love and poetry in the ancient world. Space is limited, so please reserve your spot today.

Preregistration required. Cost is $10 per person, $20 per couple. Must be 21 or older.
