Many of us have read stories or seen movies featuring gods, goddesses, and heroes from Greek and Roman mythology. But how was this mythology incorporated into the lives of ancient people? In this tour, we’ll look at such artifacts as vases, lamps, and sarcophagi—decorated with images of Athena, Herakles, Dionysus, and more—and consider how this mythology was experienced by everyday people.

This event is free and open to all visitors.
