3D Pushke Exhibit

This three-dimensional exhibit features a wide variety of pushkes (charity boxes) in different shapes and sizes, from different geographical locations, and representing many different causes. Charity boxes are popular in traditional Jewish homes, where giving 10% of one's income to those in need is common. All items are donated by Constance Harris and are from the Jewish Heritage Collection Dedicated to Mark and Dave Harris within the Special Collections Library at the University of Michigan, except where otherwise noted.
