About
I'm a rising sophomore originally from Northeast Ohio, near Cleveland. At UM, I am intending to major in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience with a minor in the History of Health and Medicine. I'm not quite sure what I would like to do as a career, but I'm leaning towards the health sciences and/or a research career. Last academic year, I was involved in Hall Council, Resident Halls Association, Wolverine Support Network, and Neuroscience Student Association and the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program. A fun fact about me is that I am working at the University of Michigan Natural History Museum this summer. I have loved learning so much about health, healthcare, and related careers through the required HSSP classes.
Describe a way you implement wellness and taking care of yourself?
One way I implement wellness is I really prioritize 7-8 hours of sleep, especially during the school year. It really makes such a difference! I recommend taking the mini-course The Science of Study here at UM if you are interested in learning more about the powerful role of sleep.
What is a show that you've watched, a book you've read, or music you've enjoyed recently?
The Greatest Showman soundtrack, it has both really motivational and beautiful songs.
