What is a health issue that you are really passionate about, and why?
I am very interested in the gut-brain axis (GBA) and its potential impact on both gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and mental health disorders like depression. I find this connection between the GI tract and the central nervous system to be fascinating, as it may lead to the development of novel treatments for a variety of conditions.
