What is a quote that inspires you, and why?

"We got but one shot at life, let's take it while we're still not afraid. Because life is so brief and time is a thief when you're undecided" from Rod Stewart's song "Young Turks". I enjoy the entire song, but this specific quote has always stood out to me. Although I am currently undecided in my major, I feel that sometimes you just have to choose things in life and stick with them, and if you change your mind later that's ok, but waiting until it's too late is a waste. To me, it also speaks on not throwing away my youth even outside of school; enjoying what I have and taking risks while I still can.

What is a health issue that you are really passionate about, and why?

Disadvantages because of socioeconomic status. I believe it is a crime that just because some humans don't make enough money, they can't receive care. Whether it's critical care or not, I think all people should have equal access. This includes access to insurance as well. I have noticed that there are times where humans are even denied care because hospitals know that patient will not be able to pay for the care, or because their insurance isn't "good enough", so they are left untreated, which is so wrong.
