My name is David and I am excited to become a peer mentor for this year. I am originally from Ghana but moved to Niles, MI in 2018. I am currently majoring in Biomolecular Science on the pre-med track with the intention of becoming a physician in the future. I like to sing, listen to music, and play soccer. One interesting fact about me is that I can speak 3 languages and I hope to add Spanish as a fourth language. My favorite thing about being an HSSPer is having a community that makes a big institution like U-M smaller and socially manageable.

What is a show that you've watched, a book you've read, or music you've enjoyed recently?

A book I have read most recently that I found inspiring was "When Breath Becomes Air" by Paul Kalanithi.
