Heather Unaeze

Heather is the Executive Assistant for the Honors Program. She is responsible for providing high level administrative support to the Director and Associate Director. Heather also helps coordinate and organize events, supports the Honors Summer Fellowship program, and provides upper division student support. 

Heather graduated from Western Michigan University with her Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education with a concentration in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. Heather was a mental health therapist for a few years, and she began her journey working for the University of Michigan in 2019 on the Michigan Medicine side. 

In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running, and traveling.
