Margo is an Academic Advising Graduate Intern in the Honors Program, with a specialization in writing support. She comes to the Honors Program from the English Department, where she is completing her PhD in English Language and Literature. Her research focuses on the rhetoric of labor in medieval and early modern English plays and poems. She has been teaching through the UM English Department and EDWP since 2015 on everything from Shakespeare to "The Office." She has also worked at the writing center at Henry Ford College and teaches literature courses through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
Before coming to the University Michigan for her graduate work, Margo received her BA from Brandeis University, where she triple-majored in English, Hispanic Studies, and Comparative Literature. Somehow, she also found room in her undergraduate schedule to spend a semester studying abroad in Seville, Spain. In addition to travel, Margo enjoys gardening, sewing, and obsessing over her dog, Nora (who is a very good girl).
