Friday, Oct. 9  at 1:00 in the Boulevard Room of Pierpont Commons
(2101 Bonisteel Blvd) on North Campus.
The goal is to connect graduates who are members of the three honorary societies with U-M students.  The alums will be there to share their experiences with you and to answer any questions you may have about their work and their career trajectories.
One of the mentors representing Phi Beta Kappa will be Jon D. Miller,  who has been at the Institute for Social Research since 2010.  He is Director of the International Center for the Advancement of Scientific Literacy and the Longitudinal Study of American Youth.  His work should be of interest to students in many different fields.  Another will be Patrick Long, a research neuroscientist at UM.
