GRADUATION SPRING 2021 NOTE: For the health and safety of its community, U-M has cancelled all commencement activities related to the Spring 2021 graduation. The Honors Program is keenly aware that this comes as a disappointment to the seniors who have worked so hard on their theses, not to mention their undergraduate degrees.
We are currently working with our faculty and staff to determine how best to acknowledge our graduates; we do plan on distributing Honors graduation certificates and other memorabilia. Please stand by for more information. We will also follow university best practices, as U-M looks at alternative ways to celebrate with out seniors.
Congratulations! You're almost there: undergraduate graduation.
Honors generally shares the same graduation timeline as LSA Newnan, which is available here.
There are many opportunities to celebrate your graduation across campus, with three graduation periods every year - end of April/first of May, August, and December.
U-M has two campus-wide commencement ceremonies: Spring Commencement (at the conclusion of the Winter term), and Fall Commencement (in December). August (Summer) graduates are eligible to participate in either the Spring or the December ceremony. For campus-wide ceremony information, link here.
The Honors Program has its own graduation ceremony and reception each year during the Spring Commencement activities. Here is a link to Honors Graduation Events for specific times and dates. You may also check with your department for their calendar of events.
