University of Michigan Faculty Awarded “Global Midwest” Project Grants

The Humanities Without Walls consortium, funded by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and administered through the Illinois Program for Research in the Humanities, announced Tuesday the awards given to multi-institutional research projects as part of its “Global Midwest” initiative. The Institute for the Humanities, one of fifteen member organizations of the consortium, is pleased to announce that four proposals submitted from the University of Michigan have been granted awards in the first round of the Global Midwest competition:
