History of Art graduate students recently traveled to Cleveland for the day to tour the Cleveland Museum of Art. They received a guided tour of the exhibition The Tudors: Art and Majesty in Renaissance England from Robin Hanson, the textile conservator at CMA. She shared behind-the-scenes details about the exhibition installation process, discussed her work as a conservator, and the practical challenges she faces with an exhibition like The Tudors. After a day at the museum, they joined CWRU (Case Western Reserve University) art history grad students for dinner near the museum.
