Jennifer Robertson, professor of anthropology and history of art, was interviewed on The Agenda with Steve Paikin, the flagship current affairs program of TVOntario, Ontario’s public broadcaster.

The episode, titled "Japan's Robot Nation," explored what the homogeneous country of Japan tells us about technology and social interactions.

Robertson is currently writing and editing articles and books on the cultural history of Japanese colonialism; eugenics, bioethics, and ideologies of "blood" in Japan and Israel; the genre of war art; and humanoid robots and cyberculture in Japan and elsewhere. Although her primary area specialty is Japan, where she has lived for about two decades, Robertson has also worked in Sri Lanka (1982-1992) and since 1997 has been working in Israel as well.
