EEB retreat

We have planned a full day of activities, including:
Field trips led by EEB faculty and students, including (but not limited to):
Aquatics and Invertebrates
Cassandra Bog and Buck Hollow
Forest Dynamics, Succession, and Chaos
Glacial and Geological Features
Birds
Fungi
ESGR Facilities, History, Site Projects
Time to socialize with your colleagues in a beautiful setting, with food and drink
Afternoon/early evening activities include:
Graduate Student Discussion
Book Discussion ā€“ Why Iā€™m No Longer Talking to White People About Race
Volleyball and other lawn games

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served. Breakfast and lunch are free of charge. If you are planning on staying for dinner, the cost is $10 for faculty and $5 for students and staff. Dinner is free for incoming students and children! Partners, significant others, and other guests are welcome ā€“ the cost is the same as their sponsor. Sorry ā€“ no pets allowed!

If you plan to attend, please fill out the form here: https://forms.gle/LWxoGrq1ocN5SZ586. Once you have RSVPed, please bring your payment (either cash or check) to Nathan Sadowsky in the graduate office.

Vans will be available for transportation to the event and a sign-up sheet for rides can be found here. Please indicate if you are willing to drive. Vans will leave Ann Arbor at 8:15 a.m. and will return after dinner. If you will be driving your own vehicle, car-pooling is strongly encouraged. Directions to the E.S. Be sure to bring clothes for outdoor hiking, bug spray, extra shoes/boots, games, a refillable water bottle or travel coffee mug, and a camera.
