EEB writing retreat

Time and space to write
Saturday, February 17, 2018

E.S. George Reserve Map
The EEB writing retreat is designed to give you some time and space to push through to completion on that paper you are writing, or that chapter you are working on, or that proposal you keep setting aside. This first time around we are making it a quiet, dedicated writing retreat. If there is sufficient interest we can potentially hold a writing workshop in the future. We are planning on some space for small collaborative groups to write group papers.

We all know that if we are given the time and space, we can write more effectively. If you think this would be a benefit to you, sign up for the EEB writing retreat. It is open to GRADUATE students unless we have an abundance of openings and then we will invite some undergrad seniors working on their thesis.

The E.S. George Reserve has enough room for at most 12 people to have a dedicated space to write. We have cooking facilities, heat, water, and facilities to make a basic off-the-internet retreat possible. We will provide a single van for transport and hope to carpool with others to make the impact minimal. Cooking will be communal to the extent desired by the participants, ordering pizza is another option.
