North Quad

GSP Makes its Home in The North Quadrangle Residential and Academic Complex

Affectionately referred to as NQ, this building is home to International Impact, a theme community focused on today’s multicultural world, particularly the aspects of globalization and technology along with  two academic learning communities, the Global Scholars Program (GSP) and the Max Kade German Program.

North Quad invites resident students to participate in the many student led councils such as the multicultural council, hall council. These Councils hosts events, raise awareness throughout building, and embody the theme of North Quad; International Impact.  From the top to the bottom, North Quad is packed with great resources. On the tenth floor, the tower room is a great space to study, with a kitchen made available to all residents. Pots and pans can be borrowed from the Community Center. On the third floor, there are 2 laundry rooms, the Community Learning Center (computer lab), 2 large community lounges, vending machines, and the GSP office.  On the first and second floors, the Media Gateway is a great study space.

North Quad also has a number of classrooms and presentation spaces, as well as housing offices for the School of Information, Communication Studies, Screen Arts and Cultures, the Language Resource Center and the Sweetland Center for Writing .
