My name is Vanessa and I am a Junior majoring in German and Neuroscience on the Pre-med track. I was initially planning on completing a German minor, but as I spent more time in the German Department, I felt that a major would fit well with my future goals due to the interdisciplinary nature of the department. I am a member of Schriftlich, the German Undergraduate Journal, and currently serve as the Secretary/Treasurer. I spent a year abroad in Germany and have taken summer courses at the DeutschAkadmie. I am also a research assistant and in my free time you can find me tutoring elementary schoolers, knitting in the Diag, and finding new TV shows on Netflix.
