Major: German, Information Analysis and Organizational Studies
My name is Nicole and I am majoring in German, Organizational Studies, and Information. I began learning German in middle school and although it was not part of my initial plan, I was easily convinced to pursue the major because of the German department’s tight knit community. Along with the courses at UM, I have taken courses through the Goethe Institut both online and abroad in Germany to help fulfill the major requirements. I am also very involved in student organizations on campus as I currently hold leadership positions in SUNNY and DMUM. In my free time I love going to the gym, playing sports with friends (including on IM teams!), and exploring new places. I would be happy to answer any questions about managing multiple majors, studying abroad, starting in upper-level German classes, getting involved on campus/gaining leadership roles, or anything else!
