About
Majors: Biology, German
My name is Jacob and I am a junior studying biology and German. I am from Frankenmuth, Michigan and I have been studying German since 8th grade. Growing up in a German community, I have always had a strong desire to learn German. My first German class here was German 300 (Towards Fluency) and I have also taken other 300 classes including Soccer German and Business German. I am very passionate about learning more about German culture and I have visited Germany and Austria many times. Outside of the German department, I am a pre-med student, a member of the pre-health fraternity Delta Epsilon Mu, and the recruitment director for the Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Association. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, traveling, and trying out new restaurants in Ann Arbor. I would love to talk about how to balance pre-med requirements with German classes, starting out in 300-level German as a freshman, and adjusting to life at a large university from a small high school and community.
