FTVM Wants to Make Your 2021 Graduation
an Event to Remember!
Are YOU ready to be a part of it?
As a part of our senior tribute
-- that will premiere on YouTube on
Friday, April 30, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. --
we are creating a multi-media processional to honor each of our graduates ... but we need your creative voices!
Please read the guidelines below
to find out how to particpate!
What is the FTVM Senior Tribute?
The FTVM senior tribute is our version of an online graduation celebration to honor our 2021 graduates and foster a more personalized, community celebration of your achievements despite our physical distance. The tribute will contain addresses from our Department Chair, our faculty, and our students -- as well as a "virtual processional" honoring each graduate. This event will premiere on YouTube with an enabled live chat (and then be posted on our FTVM website)!
How will I be honored in the FTVM processional?
You may choose to be honored in one of two ways (more infomation and examples for each choice are available below):
1) Utilize your FTVM production skills by creating an original video (5-30 seconds max) to creatively say “goodbye” and/or reflect upon your FTVM experience.
2) Submit responses to guided questions about your FTVM experience and a personal headshot so that we can create a special tribute slide for you.
Does it matter which option I choose?
Not at all. We want YOU to be comfortable with your choice. If you are more production-oriented and/or would like to showcase your skills and creativity -- you might consider the video option. By contrast, if you would like a more "traditional" salute, you might consider the slide option. Both options require you to submit your name and any additional majors/minor(s) on this Google form by April 5, 2021.
