Destiny Cole attended the T. Howard Foundation Diversity Awards Dinner and Meet and Greet where she was able to network with recruiters from several different media companies such as Paramount, NBC Universal, Viacom, Fox, and ABC. At the T. Howard Awards Dinner, Destiny had the opportunity to meet Courtney Kemp, the creator and show runner for Power as well as the actor who plays Tommy, Joseph Sikora. After the event, Destiny networked with all of the companies that came to the dinner and gained valuable connections to help her transition out of college and into the industry. Destiny adds, "Thank you (FTVM) for making this experience a possibility!"
The mission of the T. Howard Foundation is to promote diversity in media and entertainment by increasing the number of diverse and underrepresented groups and underserved communities within the industry.
