About
Originally from Southern California, Grace comes from a video production background. She cultivated her interest in film and other forms of popular media while pursuing her B.A. in the field of Film and Media at UC Berkeley, graduating with High Honors and Phi Beta Kappa distinction. She then went on to work as a video production vendor at Microsoft’s headquarters for four years and developed a strong interest in digital technology. From there, she earned her M.A. degree in English at Brandeis University, where she focused her research on social media regulation. Following a cross-disciplinary approach, Grace’s research centers on authorship, censorship, and other regulatory practices across forms of media with particular focus on the spread of disinformation through social media.
