B.A. with Highest Honors, English Literature and Film and Video Studies, University of Michigan, 1996Dan Tice is a working filmmaker originally from Ann Arbor who has recently returned from Los Angeles. He has worked in numerous aspects of the film industry including film editor, camera operator, story consultant and represented screenwriter.
His screenplays have been optioned by production companies including Davis Entertainment and Schorr Pictures and have recently received awards from the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, the Marfa Film Festival and the CineStory Foundation. His short films have screened at numerous film festivals, including his Honors thesis “Thank You For Not Smoking”, which was made as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan and which screened at festivals such as Sundance and the British Short Film Festival.
