Daniel Herbert co-author (with Derek Johnson) of the chapter "'Every Day Should Be a Holiday': Black Friday and the Importance of Retail in the Circulation of Media" in the book Digital Media Distribution participated in a roundtable discussion on Zoom to launch the book on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at noon.

With the launch of several new streaming platforms in 2020, changes in distribution have been on the minds of scholars and consumers alike. Editors Paul McDonald, Courtney Brannon Donoghue, and Tim Havens introduced their timely collection, and Virginia Crisp, Dan Herbert, Jade Miller, and Sriram Mohan spoke about their contributions to the recently published Digital Media Distribution: Portals, Platforms, Pipelines (NYU Press, 2021).
