On November 14th, Vincent Longo (FTVM '14)  received the third place Blue Award for Multi-Term Projects at the MLibrary Undergraduate Library Research Award Ceremony for his honors thesis in the Department of Film, Television, and Media titled “Going Around the World with Orson Welles: A Multimedia Auteur.” Under the supervision of Professor Matthew Solomon, Vincent’s thesis reconstructs and analyzes Welles's 1946 Broadway musical “Around the World” and its six lost film sequences. The award is given each year to students who demonstrate excellence in library research conducted in support of an undergraduate student project.
