The ELI’s third annual Summer Ice Cream Social was held in the courtyard in front of Weiser Hall on Monday, July 15. This event brings together four ELI summer groups: international U-M graduate students enrolled in the Summer EAP program, students from South Korea participating in the Summer in Michigan Program jointly offered by the ELI and the Nam Center for Korean Studies, participants and facilitators in ELI’s Conversation Circles, and international GSIs enrolled in ELI 994 to prepare for fall teaching in LSA. Several attendees brought along friends and family members, and everyone enjoyed some delicious local handcrafted ice cream on a perfect Michigan summer day!
