On April 3, the Eisenberg Institute partnered with the Museum Studies Program to present "Museums as a Site of Knowledge-Production." Symposium panelists contemplated the nature of museum objects and their meanings for source communities, visitors, and scholars. The event follows the Institute's 2013-15 theme, "Materials of History."

Panelists included Amanda Respess, Raymond Silverman, Carla Sinopoli, and Michelle McClellan. The event was made possible by a generous contribution from Kenneth and Frances Aftel Eisenberg. Presented in conjunction with the Museum Studies Program.
