From the Big Bang to Big History, panelists contemplated the meaning of time itself and the implications for historical scholarship in the Eisenberg Institute's February 26 symposium, "Temporality Across Disciplines." The event follows the Institute's 2013-15 theme, "Materials of History."

Panelists included Katherine L. French (History), Cameron Gibelyou (Physics), Piotr Michalowski (Near Eastern Studies), Stephen A. Smith (Ecology and Evolutionary Biology), Paul N. Edwards (History, Information), and Martin S. Pernick (History). The symposium is available online as an MP3 audio file to University of Michigan account holders (link here to access).
