Congratulations to Ronit Stahl (Ph.D. Candidate, History), winner of the Eisenberg Institute’s winter 2013 photo contest. Ronit’s image features a man sitting among the lush, verdant landscape of northwestern Vietnam. According to Ronit, “the man, who had been working, was resting and looking over terraced rice fields … near a Black Hmong   village outside of Sapa.” Her image will be featured on the Institute’s winter 2013 event poster and website.

Paul Hebert (Ph.D. Candidate, History), Eric Schewe (Ph.D. Candidate, History), and Andres Pletch (Ph.D. Student, History) were named runners-up in the photo contest. Their images are also featured on the Institute’s website and will be profiled in future news items.
