Research interests

My interests span two foci: understanding how species diversity is maintained and determined, and the dynamics of ecological communities. I try to relate the two by using temporal data to understand the processes shaping species diversity. For that aim I often use a combination of statistical and dynamic models, and I sometimes study the performance of these methods.
