Joanna Rifkin

Biography

I'm interested in relating traits and selection to genetic and genomic changes in populations, and in developing genomic resources to expand access to non-model systems. My research has included work on mating systems in morning glory, sex chromosomes in sorrel, and flower color in dame's rocket.

Research

At the University of Michigan, I'm working on projects in dame's rocket (Hesperis matronalis) and common morning glory (Ipomoea purpurea).
