Research interests
I am an evolutionary biologist, interested in the evolutionary, ecological and biogeographic patterns that generate biodiversity. Most of my work uses lizards and snakes as model organisms. In my postdoctoral research I'm working on conceptual issues regarding species delimitation, applying empirical data of genetic-based delimitation. I am also engaged in initiatives that promote diversity and equity in science.
