What were your educational/career goals when you applied to the MAE Program?  My educational goals included: strengthening economics background, improving skills in corporate finance and enterprise valuations, and learning the differences between GAAP and accounting principle in China. I'm interested in investment banking business; I hoped to get employment in securities companies and also considered a management consulting job.

Why did you decide to pursue your MAE degree at the University of Michigan?  I'm interested in applied economics topics. Also, students are allowed to enroll courses in the Ross School of Business and the Ford School of Public Policy.

What did you enjoy most about the MAE Program?  Students could select a lot of interesting courses besides fundamental economics courses, such as Game theory, Valuations (Ross) and corporate finance (Ross).

How has your MAE degree contributed to your work today?  MAE degree brought me a stronger economics background, which is essential to my current work when I analyze business models and give advice to the clients.

What advice do you have for MAE graduates looking for a job or internship?  If you're interested in finding a position in China, please contact me. I'm glad to share my experience with you.
