Feiya Shao
Feiya Shao is a Ph.D candidate in economics at the University of Michigan with interests in macroeconomics and labor economics. Her research focus is on the economics of high-skilled immigration and its broader impacts on society, including but not limited to the labor markets. She is also working on empirically estimating macroeconomic growth models with micro-level household panel data in the hopes of better identifying mechanisms for economic growth. Prior to starting her Ph.D, Ms. Shao received a BS in Economics at Singapore Management University.
