Steve Shyn is a Managing Director at Accenture with close to 30 years of experience in financial services. He currently leads platform sales for banking and capital markets and drives out partner and alliance relationships at the company such as Finastra, Murex, Calypso, Blackrock and Tegra118. Accenture is driving Cloud Transformation as its top priority so many of the most recent client projects have been around platform cloud transformations and strategies.

Steve has a wide array of financial services industry experience, bringing senior level leadership, management and a pragmatic approach to find innovative solutions to help clients navigate through change. Steve’s career has been focused on Lending, Capital Markets, Risk, Finance and Regulatory Change. Prior to joining Accenture, Steve was managing partner of TargetST8 (acquired by Accenture) and served as the Americas Head of Post Trade, Global Banking, Securities Services and Risk Technology at HSBC, Executive Director at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, Director of the Banking and Data Management Group at PwC, and First Vice President for Risk Management Systems and Data Infrastructure at JPMorgan Chase.

Steve holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan (1992) and an AB in Economics from the University of Michigan (1989).
