Steve Shyn “retired” from Accenture earlier in 2022 and founded two companies focused on venture and incubation.

Right Pedal Partners is a Miami-based venture firm that incubates startups in the fintech world. Through the network, Right Pedal has also invested for the partners in several early stage fintech startups. The company also advises startups and institutional clients on future strategy and supports sales through its bespoke sales framework and can provide engineers on a global basis to support the build efforts for its clients.

StartupCT Fintech Fund is an early stage fintech venture capital fund focused on building startups in the State of Connecticut. The fund is a privately managed VC with an ecosystem focus and works closely with the Governor’s office, the various CT focused organizations, the Universities in the State and key companies in the ecosystem. Steve launched Blockchain ConneCT, a blockchain community in the state bringing together engineers, venture capital, educational resources, legislative expertise with the goal of educating, networking and building a vibrant blockchain community.

Steve Shyn was previously a Managing Director at Accenture with close to 30 years of experience in financial services. He came to Accenture through the acquisition of his company in 2018. He led platform sales for banking and capital markets and drove out partner and alliance relationships at the company such as Finastra, Murex, Calypso, Blackrock and Tegra118.

Steve has a wide array of financial services industry experience, bringing senior level leadership, management and a pragmatic approach to find innovative solutions to help clients navigate through change. Steve’s career has been focused on Lending, Capital Markets, Risk, Finance and Regulatory Change. Prior to joining Accenture, Steve was managing partner of TargetST8 (acquired by Accenture) and served as the Americas Head of Post Trade, Global Banking, Securities Services and Risk Technology at HSBC, Executive Director at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, Director of the Banking and Data Management Group at PwC, and First Vice President for Risk Management Systems and Data Infrastructure at JPMorgan Chase.

Steve is on the non-profit board of Orchestra Lumos (formerly the Stamford Symphony) and a board advisor to various fintechs in the industry.

Steve holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan (1992) and an AB in Economics from the University of Michigan (1989).
