Jessica Hoffman Brennan is a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group. Ms. Brennan is based in New York.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Brennan was a Managing Director of Credit Suisse Group's private fund group based in New York. She was responsible for distribution of alternative investment funds to institutional investors.

Over her career, Ms. Brennan has been involved in the fundraising and formation of hundreds of different alternative investment funds, working with a diverse client base including: buyout, venture capital, mezzanine, distressed/special situations, credit, secondary, fund of funds and liquid strategies. Ms. Brennan joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 1999 from Bankers Trust’s private equity fundraising group. She covers a diverse institutional investor base including sovereign wealth funds, state and corporate pension funds, endowments and foundations, advisers and fund-of-funds, and ultra-high-net-worth families.

Ms. Brennan holds an A.B. degree in economics and literature from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Brennan holds Series 7 and 63 licenses and is a registered lobbyist in New York City from January 12, 2012 to present.
