My work in argon geochronology and noble gas geochemistry has led me to be involved in a wide area of research that includes: paleomagnetism, volcanology, economic geology, physical anthropology, lunar geology, tectonics, hydrology, paleoclimate, glaciology, petroleum geology, geothermal energy, atmospheric physics, and most recently, the molecular structure of liquid water.
