Seniors Carrie Glauner and Molly Blakowski win Sweetland Prizes
Congratulations to Carrie Glauner and Molly Blakowski, both seniors in Earth and Environmental Sciences, who won the two Sweetland Upper-Level Writing Prize in Natural Science.
Carrie's paper is titled Identifying Channel Migration Directionality in the Agricultural, Low Relief Setting of the River Raisin. It was written for EARTH 442 and nominated by her instructor Prof. Sarah Aciego.
Molly's paper is titled Wind-Driven Dust Transport in the Transantarctic Mountains and Antarctic Dry Valleys. It was written for EARTH 442 and nominated by her instructor Prof. Sarah Aciego.
An awards ceremony to honor Sweetland Upper-Level Writing Prize winners is planned for Wednesday, April 24.
