Prof. Naomi Levin, Associate Chair of Graduate Studies, announced that the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences has permanently dropped the GRE requirement for graduate admissions, effective October 7, 2020. We will continue our practice of conducting holistic review of applicants.
The only standardized test still required by Rackham Graduate School for admission to our graduate program is the Test of English as a Foreign Language; the TOEFL is required of all non-native speakers. The IELTS test can be submitted instead of the TOEFL.
